ParkingEye Morrison's Caernaerfon

Options
Hello all.

£85 PCN for overstaying in a free Morrison's car park in Caernaerfon. PCN has no mention of keeper liability (gap at bottom) and I received the PCN 6 weeks after the 'contravention'.

I've read through the sticky threads and as a result have emailed the no reply Morrisons email to get the PCN cancelled.

Will wait a couple of weeks before appealing for popla code, sounds good to you all?:money:

  • If you're sure on the dates, and there was no windscreen ticket, then there's no point waiting if you've already had the NtK. The delay in appealing is for if they have only issued a windscreen ticket, to distract them around the time they should be issuing the NtK.

Appeal to ParkingEye with the template on the **NEWBIES** thread for the appropriate ATA, but modified to include, as point 1, non-compliance with the mandatory time limits for issue of an NtK under PoFA 2012 Schedule 4.

You should receive confirmation of the cancellation from Morrisons quite quickly.

As Carthesis says, there's no benefit in waiting to send PE the initial appeal from the newbies FAQ sticky thread as this isn't a windscreen ticket. Don't fall asleep on getting that appeal in within PE's 28 day deadline, otherwise any access to POPLA (should you need it) will be an uphill struggle.

But M's should cancel. Let us know how it goes.

I disagree. A company with fantastic customer service would not have scammers scamming genuine customers in the first place.

Well done on getting it cancelled though.

    well done ....:j

would you kindly consider the below ..... and help the cause

This is a campaign of asking people to keep sending Theresa May actual hard copies of the trash they've been deluged with. Let her advisers' desks overflow with annoying paperwork re PPCs.

No emails, all letters from genuine people pouring their hearts out. Write to your MP as well as Mrs May:

    https://bmpa.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/211923909-Why-not-write-to-your-MP

The more the better, write it yourself if you are able and enclose copies of the threatograms and rubbish thrown at you.

Do not do this by email - make your paperwork land with a thump on desks, just like it all landed in a very unwelcome way on your doormat.

Apparently the DCLG are looking to make an announcement before the year end so let's make MP's and Mrs May aware that action needs to be strong. You can be sure that the BPA and IPC suits are lobbying Parliament and meeting their friends in suits.

So let the consumers' voices be heard.

    thanks

Even better customer service would be an apology from Morrisons and an undertaking that this will never happen again stating that the parking eye cameras will be switched off, or obscured for the foreseeable future

If your posting/complaining you should share this with the facebook people http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/parkingeye-sue-parent-of-seriously-ill.html and morrisons itself
