:T :T :T :T :T :T    :beer:I know that for many purists on here having a payment leave your account doesn't count... I mean James 240 wouldn't count it as gone until it shows up on the statement / their account,...............but as far as I'm concerned I've now paid off all my credit cards and have only the credit card debt that I pay off every month.
Nice one verbie!!!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Thanks everyone for all your kind words. It's very much appreciated.
It doesn't feel quick to me! As some of you know we took out 0% cards to avoid taking out too large a new mortgage to build an extension and modernize our house. It was all very manageable not to say financially cautious. Then we lost one big source of income and then another in quick succession and for some time had hardly any income from employment. We are both approaching retirement and had school fees to pay, now thankfully dd has left school and is off to uni this week. We have got other income from rented property but not enough. We gave up everything that we could, well that's too dramatic, let's say easy stuff like a daily paper, a cleaner and coffees/meals out. I took in students from a foreign language school, up to 4 at a time giving them breakfast and cooking a 2 course dinner at night which helped. I then developed heart problems, partly I'm convinced through worrying altho' I do realise that our circumstances are much less difficult than many. Anyway I am proud to have managed the 'tarting' of the 0% ccs and to have paid it all off without a penny in interest or handling fees and to have saved us several thousands by doing so.
Now we would like to finish the house off with some cupboards, carpets and a patio but will not be taking anymore 0% offers! The savings account will be padded first this time. Our income is coming back up and I'm glad I don't need to have students around anymore as my heart condition has resurfaced and I'm booked in for another procedure this month. I hope that this will sort the problem out and that worrying about money is now at an end.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -
