I've been comping for years using a BT email address I now have to PAY for because thousands of sites are registered to it (I hate BT with every fibre of my being). I use an ad-blocker because yes - despite paying they still try to litter the page with annoying ads. I get a couple of thousand emails a day too but to be fair all the annoying "you've won"..."the chance to win..." emails do end up in the Spam folder. I've made a folder called "Check for Wins" and anything with the words "won" or "congratulations" or "winner" in the subject line or body of the email go in there which made it easier to check. Why do mice have such small balls?

You pay for an email address?
I might be missing something but why don't you just sign up for a free one like gmail?Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.

This is the Action Fraud website, the first time I reported a scam email I followed the steps giving my details ( there are separate areas for reporting attempted scams and if you've actually lost money or your computer has been compromised). Now I just forward dodgy ones to them, they all help to build a picture of what the scammers are up to, and where they're operating from.
