can i cancel my new gym membership

Hi

I have joined the dw gym in derby yesterday and have changed my mind, can i cancel the membership ?

Any advice appreciated

    Why don't you read the paperwork you signed?

    I havent got any paperwork form was done online, i wondered if their was a 14 day period or 28 days that meant i could cancel legally. This forum is usually great for stuff like this
    I will look online but thought would ask here as i am on my mobile phone in a hotel

    Thanks that link explains that i have to wait 6 months to be able to cancel my membership so i phoned customer services eho are saying i am tied in for 6 month, i stupidly thought id have a legal right to a cooling off period.
    Have i? Or am i stuck in this contract?
    Can i take this further
