Freezer Advice Please

In my freezer I have some cooked ham and cooked turkey. I would like to defrost and make into ham and turkey pies.
However this will create more pies than we will eat in one sitting so my question is can I then re-freeze safely?
Thank you

If the pies are cooked before freezing probably ok. If not definitely not.
Can you not just chop a bit off the frozen lump and cook with that? It would seem safer.0 -
My advice would be definitely not.
The meat is already cooked so the making of the pie would be it's second heating. Freezing them and then heating again would be the third heating and that is not recommended.0 -
Thank you both - you've confirmed my suspicions. Serves me right for throwing things in the freezer without a plan.
If I can't cut them in half I guess it'll have to be turkey one night and ham another!0
