I'm hoping for a NSD. I've been really bad with buying lunches and going a wee bit over the top with alcohol, and they seem to be all I spend my pin money on... so now that I've taken the iron whip to myself, I shouldn't spend any money all week... or ever for that matter. Nah, it won't last that long.
Bills wise, cat insurance came out today, and she has to have her booster thingie as well, but they are budgeted for out of the joint account.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Hi all.
I'm still reeling from that spend yesterday, so I wasn't for going out today. That was until dd said she had left her violin at school, so I had to give her a lift to get it back. Seein' as I was there anyway, I went into the co-op, so a total of £10.00, but it was all rtc groceries. No difference to my weekly spends budget, so quite good really.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0 -
Popped into Tesco on the way home for a few bits. Looked in my purse and I had £6.30. Thought to myself "Can I really get dog food, bread, cereal bars, and dinner for that? No." Resigned myself to using my card (have £20 till next Wed) and need to get petrol!! Anyway, looked around, really took notice of prices and managed to get:2 x 2 fishcakes (on offer)Loaf of breadBox of dog food2 for 1 teacakesGo ahead yoghurt bars half price! All for £5.70! So pleased with myself! I would never have even thought before, just bought what I wanted and extra stuff and paid on credit card if I didn't have enough. Also managed to get a whole wad of Tesco vouchers for schools when I mentioned I was a teacher!I've definitely got the bug for this saving money lark and it's all done to you great people!! Thanks!!LB Moment Sep 2007 Debt at highest £19,000 :eek:Debt at April 2011 £10,0000
