Just checked our bank accounts to mark off all the DDs that have come out.

Minimum payment to the 0% has come out so thats £50 off the table and chairs and £17 off the rest of it!!

I will hopefully get a childcare bill for £65 for DS in the next few days. I have saved £100 for it so another £35 towards the CC bringing it under £1800. Ive paid off £200 so far this year just from 'slushing' like this - awesome!

Total debt now stands at £11,082. According to my spreadsheet i should be under £10k by the end of March. This will be amazing!

Still need to do stuff to the car though. Husbands talking about pushing that to next month. We shall see.

Bill in book bag tonight and £65 as expected. Instead of using it to pay down the credit card. I've rounded the £35 up to £100 and whacked it in the loan. £8300 and counting.......

Its just budgetting for stuff and aiming for under that amount and chucking it at the debt or savings. I 'slush' whats left at the end of the month out of my joint account which has all our direct debits come out of it. Also, if we have planned to do something and then not done it the money saved gets 'slushed' towards the debt.

I think people call it different things.

    Morning all

Chat with the husband last night filling him in on our progress in February so far. Started discussing buying him a new wedding ring as it's been 4 years since he lost his original and because of debt we haven't replaced it. He said no let's put everything we can at the loan and just get rid. We can buy a new one when we are debt free. So now we are gunning for the loan completely. Even amounts less than £50 will go towards it.

Just checked accounts and council tax should have gone out by now so reckon I signed up for 10 months - although I can't find the bill to check - so another £100 off the loan. Our bill is actually £118 so I've left the £18 in the joint account for the moment in case any dd s are more than I anticipated. So loan is now £8200!!!!

Food shopping today. Went to butchers yesterday so have lots of meat and dried stuff. Just need fresh stuff. Think I might go to mr m and stick to a list. No wine though - running tomorrow.

Oh impressed with myself for working out today before breakfast.!! Did some atms and ab work whilst dd ate her breakfast. Planning to make this a habit!!

Thank crunchy it's Friday!!! Ha ha ha!
