Hello!
We have a problem here with my wife's payslips. We are unable to process our mortgage any further because on my wife's payslips her name appears different than it is in reality. Basically, last two letters of her last name are swapped. And the biggest trouble is that her workplace is in the middle of retailer change. In other words we can't get hold of her previous retailer and current one has nothing to do with previous payslips. What would be solution for us to prove to bank that she is that person who works in that particular place and she earns such and such amount over that and that period of time.
Thank you very much in advance!!

Lenders can verify earnings directly with HMRC if necessary. Why wasn't this corrected at the outset?0

Thanks!
Well, at first we didn't noticed this mistake, but when we did, mortgage was already granted. Now solicitors dealing with this property buying paperwork and when I rang them to ask how far they are, they said that things are moving forward, but so far no one did contact them from bank. In bank they said to me that now this is a problem, wrong last name on payslip and they want at least last payslip with correct name on it. And that for us is a "mission impossible" to get that retailer to fix that.0 -
The net on the payslip is presumably going into a bank statement with the correct name.I am a Mortgage Broker
