A retractable trolley key for trolley locks with trays

My friend works for a supermarket that have replaced the trolley locks from this type

to this type

He collects the trolleys most days at work and has his own trolley key as the work ones, colleagues use them, but forget to give them back when they go home. With the former, he had a perspex key.
Now with the tray lock, there is one tool given. Again, he would like his own. Plus, sometimes if a customer has no £1, token or money on them, its quicker for him to release a trolley than finding who has the key.
So far, he can only find this and its coming from Australia.

Does anyone know where he can get a key that unlocks the tray locks whilst able to release it without the key inside?
Or any bit of equipment that does the same?
TIA

Hi, you can buy them on e-bay in the uk, in packs aswell
Pick them up at Argos too0 -
You can buy singly and postage from Australia isn't that expensive: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Removable-Aussie-Shopping-Trolley-Key-1-Coin-Slot-ALDI-WOOLWORTHS-COLES-/252594448191?Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0

I'd suggest he might be on "dangerous ground" with his employer if he gets one of these. While it seems reasonable, on first sight, it could be used as a stick to beat him with if ever his face didn't fit and they wanted him out.
All manner of suggested illegal activities could be hinted at by a less than honourable colleague.
He needs to get it sorted by his bosses, or not at all.
Interfering with the processes and practices of a large company can end up with dismissal for the unlucky or unwary.
So, just be aware that these situations can occur if he starts down this route of equipping himself to do his job more efficiently, as he sees it...0 -

They don't work on the locks with trays.

He has been using his own for 3 years and never got into trouble for it. Even his managers have borrowed his own key! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Our local supermarket has just done this too. (Could be the same supermarket, or at least the same chain!)
Scarlet, if your friend would be interested in a bulker order, I'd like one too!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
