My son got this to an e-mail account I do not use to enter for him do you think is is legit ? It seems to come from the company.

If a competition has not been entered using that e-mail address then it is very unlikely that it is genuine winners e-mail unless they randomly pick e-mail addresses to offer prizes to (which would be unlikely as it's an age restricted product and it's probably illegal to do that).
The alternative is the e-mail was actually used to enter and it's all legit.
