Additional Borrowing Through Broker

Hi
We have applied to Halifax for additional borrowing. We have gone through a broker. We received the mortgage declaration and the mortgage illustration in the post from the Halifax and by email by the broker. I spoke to the broker who said all approved and to return the declaration signed by both of us. We did that and he emailed later to say Halifax will contact us with a date funds are being transferred which is normally 7 days. We have not sent any docs only income and outgoing details. Does this seem normal? Im worried something isnt right........... I mean he wouldnt say approved if it wasnt would he?!
