Ecashwindow/EPDL
Hi
I'm trying to find out what my Direct Debit reference number was with this company. It was from back in 2013 when I had a few loans with them. They were called Early Payday Loan (EPDL) back then but re-branded to eCashwindow since.
I've tried calling their phone number advertised on their website (01908 440050) but it goes to answer phone or a lady answers who cannot hear what I'm saying. I find it strange that they don't have a proper phone service.
Anyway, can anyone give me any advice on how to obtain the direct debit reference number (it's not on my online bank statement) and I can't seem to get through by phone to the company. My bank cannot find the reference number quickly either, they said they will have to go through their on archives which will take 5 business days.
Thanks

Pay day loans normally operate with debit cards not direct debit (imo).
(Does the transaction on your online bank statement as DEB?)
Is there a reason why you need the information?0 -

You're right and the current iteration of them requires a debit card according to their FAQ. OP, are you sure it was a DD? People getting confused between DD and debit card is surprisingly commonplace.0
