Is it worth keeping a Littlewoods account?

Hi guys.

I've had the account for about 3 months now with a £750 limit. I ordered a smart watch from there on pay monthly.

I made two payments and had £265.78 outstanding. I decided to clear the balance today. I can't see myself making future purchases on there. So is it worth keeping it or just close the account?

I'd close it. Use a credit card to build a history, rather than an overpriced catalogue credit facility.

If however it's your only form of credit, I'd leave it open until a new credit card is a year or so old (but still not use it).

Thanks zx81. I'll close the account. I have a CC with my bank at 13% Lloyds at around 14% and Barclaycard platinum for the BT and cash transfer offers. All have 0 balance now and Barclaycard limit is being increased from £1,000 to £2,500 next month.
