Northern Rock - Pre-Approved Mortgage

Hi,

The people buying our house have a Northern Rock mortgage that has been pre-approved, we had the survey done on our house last Wednesday which of course the buyers will have paid for.

I think they may be going for a 100% mortgage and applied for the mortgage around the 30th of August, alot of the press speculation has been about savings not mortgages.

What do you think the chances are of this mortgage application going though?
Does anyone know if Northern Rock are accepting new mortgage applications and whether they are on tighter criteria?
