Entered>Win Ratios

Hey all

I'm just curious of how many people keep track of the number of comps they enter and if they know of their entered > win ratios?

Since May 2016 I have entered 1755 competitions without a win yet. Before that it was 3458 before a win (but I did win quite a big prize so was happy with that:j )

I started comping in 2007 and I used to enter the same amount of comps (100 or so per week) and win every 8-10 weeks. So roughly the ratio of my wins was 1000/1.

Would be interested to see what other compers ratios are and how many comps they enter per week.

I don't bother counting how many comps I enter, but I do know with Dailies, Mags Dailies, postals and new comps on the main board I enter more than 100 every day (often a lot more).

As others have said it's best to enter and forget. Good luck!:D

I very roughly estimate i win 1 in 1000. I do about 500-1000 a week and get a win about once a week.

I agree with that estimate. I enter a min of 1600 a week and win around twice a week. The amount you're entering isn't very high. You could of course still win and probably will at some point but you have less of a chance the fewer comps you enter.
