Morning one and all,
A bit of a mixed bag of weather today - unpredictable.
Yesterday was interesting. Badminton then came home to make dinner and the gas cut out. So we finished cooking our meals on the BBQ in the garage hahaha! We then had a relatively early night without a good sleep unfortunately.
Tonight I'm going to see my friend as he just had twin girls last week. That makes 3 kids in a 2 bed council house - not sure how they're going to manage. Anyway, after that I'll be getting on with making my dessert for tomorrow nights come dine with me style dinner. I'm still not sure what to make. Turns out Baileys Cheesecake is common in my GF's sisters house so I'll stay clear. Swaying towards Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Best finish my coffee and start work.
LWW - Oh do tell. What kind was it?

Lainey, hope you have a good day with your DM.
Thanks Csarina. Will see if I can find her blog.
I can't find it. GQ, if you're around, can you give me a link please? When I Google, Lady Jane Grey just keeps on popping up!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Have wasted too much time trying to find a link to a site that someone once linked to on here. It was someone who has a cooking day where she makes stock things for the freezer. Building blocks to make meals from. If anyone knows what I mean, please link to it, and if you're feeling particularly kind, PM it to me please. My brain is not behaving well and I know that I will forget to look here later.
Have a good day all. Hugs to those who need one.

Morning all,
Bright and dry here atm but we are due rain later on the washing is on the airer in the conservatory, its only those bits I cant tumble dry as we should not have wet washing hanging around because of the damp.
DD and I are off shopping today she needs to get a dress for her graduation and I would like to get her xmas / birthday presents, I have very nearly finished my xmas shopping and if I can get those two today I only need her stocking fillers then I am done, I really dislike shopping at the best of times so I am glad once I have done the majority of it.
DD is treating me to lunch out so Im not sure we will want a big dinner tonight, there is pizza in the fridge with salad for OH.
Will swish and swipe kitchen before we go and clear the fire ready for tonight.
Have a good day all xx
Hugs to Lainey xx0 -
Hello All
Lots of good vibes and umbrellas to all who need them. For those in a dark place - grab my hand and I'll give you a pull-up. Gotta keep going xx Thoroughly overdid it yesterday (when will I ever learn) but my lovely sparkly windows look terrific and will make the most of the light once the clocks change (shudder).
Will have a quick flit through the downstairs rooms, do the kitchen/bathroom/loo floors and call it finished. It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow so I can get washing done this evening and out while the good weather lasts!
Hope dessert goes well SpekySquareHead - Frugal Queen is here for those who wanted a link

Hi sorry to hear so many of us are under the weather.Book club was interesting last night as usual a lively discussion about the Cage of Stars. Received sad news yesterday my Grandma finally passed away peacefully in her sleep. Which is a relief as she had dementia and had had for about 10 years but at least we got to say goodbye . Unsure when funeral will be as yet although she made arrangements years ago.
Today I went shopping with my friend as I had a money off voucher for Sainsburys and my Ecover laundry liquid was on offer. My friend put my bags in my front room for me and I'm waiting for teenagers to move them. I can't lift heavy stuff. Also managed to get 2 more presents for Christmas a bin lorry for my nephew and a candle. Apparently Yankee do candles for Sainsburys !! Simple tea of chicken coupons and oven chips as in loads of pain.
Husband still not got another job.
Hugs to those who want / need them.0 -
LWW my DH has had eco-drive cars for the last few years, two VW Golf & a Ford Mondeo. The latest Golf has auto handbrake too, which I agree is a bit freaky! Better that than a friend's car (Range Rover) that let her drive home after dropping him at the station, with the "key" in his jacket pocket, on the station platform! :eek:2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
