Ok, I made a complaint to lloyds about a PPI they sold me which they did not pay out on and even ignored when I tried to use it and even gave me a CCJ for my troubles. As the complaint ended with them literally shrugging their collective shoulders and doing nothing I took the complaint and lloyds admission to the Ombudsmen and he has ruled in my favour already, took only a week. But now I have been asked for a settlement figure and I am at a lost. On the Ombudsmen form I stated that I was claiming for breach of contract, failure to acknowledge a service and act upon it, emotional and mental stress over 3 years and preventing me from obtaining credit anywhere else due to the CCJ.
I paid for the PPI £12 a month over 4 years, the balance on the credit card after I lost my job including all the additional charges was £6500 which give me a total of £7500 including interest. But what about all the other stuff, how do I calculate the stress and strive it has cost me.?
Please help as I am completely clueless.

Does the Ombudsman service give you any guidelines for calculation? Or maybe the FSA website?2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Have you tried a free consultation with a solicitor? I'd be interested to see how you 'price up' stress etc. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
