Former Southampton, Blackburn, Chelsea and England full-back, Graeme Le Saux is far removed from the archetypal British footballer - an individual with his own agenda who sought more to life than playing 90 minutes of football - and his distinctive take on the game promises to challenge everyone's perception of football in this country.

Le Saux became the first Channel Islander ever to be capped for England when he made his outstanding international debut against Denmark for Terry Venables' new-look England side in March 1994. After joining Chelsea direct from Jersey, his career flourished under the guidance of Kenny Dalglish at Blackburn Rovers winning the Premiership title in 1994-95. Graeme then transferred back to Chelsea for a record fee of £5.5 million before joining Southampton and finally retiring in 2005.

In his autobiography Left Field, Le Saux talks about life at Stamford Bridge before Abramovich's millions changed everything and tackles some of the major issues in the modern game including the huge amounts of money in top-flight football, players' agents and the spiralling debts of countless clubs.
