Nationwide product switch

I have an existing mortgage with Nationwide and applied to do a product switch in September which will start in December. Now I see Nationwide have dropped their rates on a 2 year fixed rate mortgage. Are we able to switch to this new rate or are we committed to the original deal we signed up to?
Thanks

I expect this would depend on whether the deal you signed up to had a minimum term or not. I'd say as new deal not yet started there's no harm in asking0

Thanks. I spoke to Nationwide and was able to cancel the new product. After 3 working days will be able to reserve the new product at lower interest rate. Great news so was worth asking!0
