I've heard that Asda operate a similar mispricing policy to Tesco's one that has recently stopped. If you are charged a different price to what's on the shelf you get a £2 voucher to spend in store. Does anyone know if this works/has been successful?

The policy does exist, although many staff members will deny it. There have been quite a few threads about it on the Shop Don't Drop section, see if you can find them.
It's mentioned on the Asda website HERE (bottom of the page). Don't take no for an answer if you're ever told that the policy doesn't exist. What happens if I am overcharged? What happens if I am overcharged?
If you have been overcharged in any of our stores we will gladly refund the difference (if you have been overcharged) and give you a £2 Gift card voucher for each product you have been mischarged for.0

They never do it automatically , I point out that it is on the website and have to ASK ask every time I am overcharged ~ not been refused as yet but the staff try and do anything they can to try and worm their way out of it. You would think the £2 was coming out of their pocket!!!

I'm often overcharged in the Asda I use, much to my joy. :j I'm always so happy to know the cashiers mistake is going to net me £2. At the customer service desk some employees give you the £2 card automatically, but with others you have to ask. It's always been provided when I've politely asked has the refund policy been abolished. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
