will analog TV still work after 1st October 2007?

i am being told it wont. does this mean we have to buy a new TV?

    the first for the digital switch over.

    It depends on where you live as the change over is rolled out across the country.
    You will need a digital receiver to pick up the signals your analogue TV can be still used with one of these little receivers.
