Voucher Cloud comps and such like has anyone ever won??
They always come across as a quite spammy with the amount of mail you get of the back of entering them but the prizes are always quite good so I thought I would ask before writing them off completely!!

I don't find them too bad for spam, but their, "Thanks for entering" and "Have you won?," are a PITA. Guessing the one that just landed in our inboxes sparked this post

Guess I sound a right grumpy mare, LOL! To be fair, yours aren't as bad as the "Congratulations" in the subject which you rush to open in excited anticipation just to find,
"You're a runner up, (As are all entrants) have 5% off!"

It's back to the annoying emails
no longer do you get a "Sorry, you didn't win this time but..." email
But now you get a "Have you won?" email, which you have to click on a link to their website and find out if you won0 -
I like the 'sorry you didn't win', saves me time and energy, hope they haven't changed it back to annoying 'have you won?' I have entered for years and not won but I guess they have many, many entries.Wishing you a lucky 2023: 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀0

Becky from vouchercloud here. I've just posted on another thread about this, so wanted to say here as well. Firstly, I’m sorry to hear you find the new journey annoying so I wanted to explain a few things.
To be frank we changed the email journey recently after feedback from the brands we work with. We knew we’d be able to secure better prizes if we changed the journey in this way. While it means a few more clicks to find out if you’ve won hopefully that’s balanced out by the better prizes we’ve been able to get.
Also, if you want to enter competitions but you don’t want to get our newsletters select the “unsubscribe all” option in your account. You’ll still get the emails when the competition ends to find out if you’ve won, but you won’t get emails about our other offers.

To be honest I've never understood the moaning about spam emails. Its part and parcel of entering competitions. Do you not understand that the whole reason companies run comps is to get their brand name noticed? If you want to enter lots of comps accept spam. Its hardly the end of the world, especially if you have a comp email addy. Has never bothered me.August-September 2017: Lots of stuff
