Typing too fast on facebook????

Got up an went on facebook. Entered a quick little comment comp - or tried to - only to be told I was blocked for using the feature too fast. On my FIRST comment of the day. Filled in the little thingy that you get if you want to appeal. 10 minutes later it seemed to have cleared, only for me to get it again on the next comment I tried. This time I just ignored it and tried again but just typed slowly and my comment was accepted. Can FB actually tell how fast we type? Am I being silly there lol?

Lately it feels like every blooming site is conspiring to slow down my comping pah.

And I just tried another comment and got blocked again. It really doesn't like me this morning.

i have also been blocked from typing any comments on fb this morning so maybe its not us and maybe an error on fb?
i certainly dont enter many on there anyway, i thought it may have been because i entered a fewyesterday but happy to see others are having the same issue this morning

I'm guessing it's because automated bots can type very fast and they're trying to cut down on spam comments left across the whole site.

For me, I've an old PC, I have to wait about a minute before I can type anything on FB.

So many people are reporting this now so i think it is a glitch on fb.

Yeah mine is that my comment is deemed abusive hahaha not sure how liked and shared could be abusive. I dont even get the option to appeal either. Lets hope they sort it out soon, theres lots of comps us guys are missing out on!

Yup same here,couple of weeks back got a e-mail telling me i,m likeing & tagging to much if i continue i will get a 30 day ban.

All i,m doing is entering f/b comps

Nothing in support inbox so no idea how long I'm banned for but looks like no FB comps or chatting for the forseeable. pfffft

Same here first thing this morning. Someone tagged me in a comp so I went to enter it myself and it wouldn't let me post a comment. Very annoying!

blocked here too, on my first like and share :eek: It seems I can only 'like' now, hopefully they will sort it out soon

I didn't get told of for typing too fast but I did get told my posts were abusive and I was banned. Its been lifted now but someone else has said they got banned again right after it being lifted so who knows!

Guess we won't be winning much on Facebook today...
