Used lever arch files, etc. Who would take them?

The organisation I work for is currently going through a big change in office layout. This involves a big clear out of unnecessary paper files.
Some of the other floors have already gone through the process and there were skiploads of A4 ring binders, lever arch files, document wallets, filing trays... you get the picture. Such a shocking waste but I was told that no charities, or anyone else, would take them.
It is now our floor's turn to clear out. Please, please, will someone tell me who might take our surplus filing stationery? I can't bear the idea of it all being thrown away. It's obscene.
Is there an organisation I can contact that takes these things and maybe donates them to small start up businesses or such like?
Thanks for any pointers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was told by our facilities team that they'd tried that but schools didn't want them.0

How about trying the nearest further education college or university? Students always need folders and would probably prefer to spend their money on other things!0

Thanks. That's a good idea too. I'll try that too.0
