I've loked in the recipe collection, but does anyone have any more recipes??
We had a gorgeous Madhur Jaffrey recipe last night, black-eyed beans and chard.
Soak overnight 6 oz beans, then boil for 40 minutes in fresh water to cover by 1". Chop up 1 lb of chard, and add with 1 tbsp lemon juice + a little salt + pepper (added 1 leek as well). Simmer for 15 minutes. Saute off 1 onion, finely chopped, 3 cloves grated garlic in a littel olive oil, then mix into hte beans, drizzle with more lemon juice and olive oil. Serves 4. Would be great with braised meat as well, lamb or mutton or pork.

I cook a whole pack of beans - my fave are haricots - and then freeze them in 100g packs. I use them instead of meat in lots of recipes.
If you google for recipes thousands of them will come up. I love beans, they are very versatille and good for you - and very cheap protein.0
