What is it with these dca's! This is the second letter received by me,since I went Br in March! All to do with a Natwest cc debt (the smallest debt by a long way in my Br)
Is the bank having a laugh selling these debts off to dca's? I'm just going to send the letter to the OR and let them deal with it.
What a bunch of vultures!

I too have had something similar today, some DCA calling on behalf of Northern Rock !! Which like yourself was my smallest creditor at approx £1500.
I just gave the woman on the phone the details of Croydon OR office and we left it at that.
God knows were they are getting the information from as it shows a satisfied on my credit reports.BR - late January 2007

I had this a couple of days ago too - I just gave them the details and asked them if it was normal to go chasing people up when they had gone BR 6 months ago. She said it shouldn't really happen and it was an error; in these cases they just give the debt back to the agent they bought it from. Nothing to get stressed about really - its just human error and someone not updating the records correctly rather than a cynical attempt to get money any way possible.BCSC Member 70:j
