Selling vinyls

Does anyone have any experience of selling vinyls? Where is the best place to do it to get the best money? I don't have one single clue about how much they're worth etc and was wondering if anyone had any advice on where would be best.
Thanks!
Thanks!

What is the condition of them (both the record itself, and the cover), and what type of vinyl are they? If they're generic popular stuff in "well used" condition, you're realistically not going to get much for them. I see them at car boot sales, and my local Oxfam shop sells vinyl, but if the stuff warrants it, there are specialist vinyl sellers, some shops and so on.
But the key is condition and range. And quantity of course.0 -
Record Collector magazine usually has 1000s of records for sale in its listings (hardcopy) http://recordcollectormag.com/
Will give you an idea of possible value of any rarities you may have. eBay and possibly Amazon will also give an idea. But if you see 5 copies of the same record at £10 from different sellers on eBay and not selling, you will realise that the value is less than £10If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Check out Discogs.com it pretty much has every record ever on there, it shows you how much its sold for on there - min, median + max. It says how many are for sale and how many people on there want it. I check discogs then ebay completed listings + work out a fair price at BIN, if it doesn't sell in a month I revise my prices."Why not now, OK so when and how," ElephantChunks.
