masking tape is brilliant for the freezer although we still have UFO's (Unidentified Frozen Objects) for tea every now and then

Husband took frozen goodies to work given to him by his Mum.
Always in little margarine pots. Defrosted during the morning ready for lunchtime.
Looking forward to frozen raspberries, yum, yum.

Only two big facts are known for certain: you are on a large, spinning rock hurtling through lonely space at about 67,000 mph, and one day your body is going to die. Will a new pair of shoes really help? :p

  • I'm reminded of a woman I'd read about years ago who opened a tub of ice-cream, thought it looked like it had melted and been re-frozen, and so returned it to the supermarket and got her money back. It wasn't until afterwards that she found another tub of ice-cream in the freezer in perfect condition and realised the supermarket had just given her a refund for a tub of her home-made chicken soup :)
Eek! Someone's stolen my signature!

    FREEZER SURPRISE!!!!! lol

Hubby was discussing this with someone at work yesterday actually about how I never label anything for the variety of reasons given above.. must invest in masking tape!!!

I had pork that looked like chicken.. casserole that looked like corned dog hash and the worst one was when I got out 'spag bol' and it was sweden sour... I LOATHE sweden sour.. and I was starving so I cried! lol

I had a good surprise once though.. in amidst my tubs of freezer surprise I found some ice cream so ate that instead!

Those lamb chops I defrosted for my evening meal have turned out to be braising steak. :( Not a problem it will be a pie by tomorrow night..... but what about tonight's dinner. :undecided

I turned all my wobbly veg into a chunky soup today, typical, it could have been roasted vegetables with sausages or the like.

So it looks like soup again or something I can defrost quickly. :o

So when I can't be bothered to label before freezing, make sure I DO!!! :rotfl:

So it's frozen fish cooking straight from the freezer, HM oven chips, a few peas and parsley sauce. Not quite what I was looking forward too but I'm sure it will be delicious. :)
