Northern Rock Mortgage offer

Hi I need so advice as I am really worried and our solicitors is not answering/returning any calls
We have exchanged on a new build property in May, the house was delayed as we were due to move in first week in September and now is looking towards the middle of October.
We have a NR mortgage hanging, while the house is finished, and waiting for the completion?
Is the mortgage offer still valid - how likely is it that it will go through?
Please advice!!

If you check the first age of your offer letter (not the covering letter) it will tell you how long the offer is valid, typically with Northern Rock it is 16 weeks, so you will probably already need to have it extended. This is not usually a problem and as an IFA I am being told by Northern Rock that they are open for mortgage business as usual, so i would suggest that you do not have anything to worry about.
Make sure your solicitor replies, he and your financial adviser should be the people helping you and sorting this problem out on your behalf!!0 -
