    Hello all,
Quite a useful day on the money saving front:
*Got up early so did the ironing while still on cheap tariff.
    *Made tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Managed to find a small window when website was working & paid CC.
    *Made bread rolls.
*Checked green tomato bag. Lots of ripe ones so made lentil & tomato soup in the slow cooker & froze.
*Cut the rest of our basil as it doesn't like cold weather. Made it into 3 pots of lovely pesto. Also made broad bean.pesto....all in freezer. We have lots of pasta so several meals there.
*Used a few more of our apple glut in a curry sauce.....also for freezer.
*Tweaked tonight's meal so I could use a recipe to use up some of the baby potatoes in the potato basket. You always get some tinies come up when you dig your potato crop up & don't like to waste them.
*Still no heating on.....except for bathroom towel radiator now & again.
    *Knit more of Mum's present.
Oh, & an NSD because I haven't been anywhere.

Evening all, so I've still got my horrible cold but I'm feeling a bit more human! At just over 34 weeks pregnant, I am however feeling a little fed up and uncomfortable, I can't wait to meet my little man now! Tomorrow is my last day at work before I start my maternity leave! Today I have:

    - Work 9-5.30 includes 30 mins overtime
    - Check bank accounts
    - Not a NSD as I bought some cakes into work for my nearly last day!
    - Will check surveys/swagbucks

And probably another early night! :) x

    Evening all :)
Sorry to hear that so many of our number are feeling poorly. Hope you are all better soon :)

Not managed much today as DD was stung by a wasp at work, and as she is badly allergic, ended up in A&E. Ended up driving her back, then to GP's later when she had recovered a bit. Anyway, she is ok now.

    Very small list:
    HM meals from stores
Walked to post office this morning as I only had 2 parcels and they fitted in my trolley. Free exercise and no fuel used :D
Posted 2 ebay items, listed a few more, sold 3 so far today :)
Bought and posted birthday card for my aunt - late sadly, as I didn't check the calendar in time :( I did manage to scribble a quick letter to put in with the card though :) Got a really nice card from one of the local discount / pound shops for only 69p, and used a RM surveys free stamp to post it :D
    Bit of business paperwork
Woodburner alight so it is toasty in here :)
Kettle is on top for 'free' hot drinks later :)

Better go and pack ebay parcels for tomorrow.

I have rent rage. Awoke this evening (post-nightshift sleep) to find a letter from our Housing Asso saying our rent account was £291 in credit.

Why has this annoyed the Wee geek?

It's the wrong smurfing amount! We shouldn't be in credit. That £291 should be in my bank account.

Back in April our ghastly Housing Asso told us that instead of paying £92 a week over 48 weeks we should pay £85 a week over 52 weeks. They said if we didn't want to change we could opt out. We opted out after sending about 10000000 emails to get it sorted.

Every week I've paid £92 in but they have allocated only £85 to our account each week, putting us in £7 a week credit every week since April.

I know that they money isn't "lost" and it means we don't need to pay anything for the next three weeks but it's the principal of the smurfing thing and the Housing Asso is shut for the night now.

A No Spend Day. A day when you keep your wallet shut.

Had another couple of busy days at work.ive continued the usual things:
    - packed lunch
    - 1 NSD, called into the shops to get some milk and fruit on the way home, got loyalty points. I always have reusable bag that rolls up in my handbag as I had paying for plastic ones.
    - sold another eBay item
    - healthcare company have agreed my claim and will refund £30 I had to pay GP to fill in form
    - still squabbling with tastecard. They have taken £40 from my account and I don't even have a flaming card!
    - postcode lottery
    - bumped Facebook sales
    - checked MR apps
    - got a crack in my wind screen so had to get it replaced. Annoyed because it was unplanned spend but I had enough to pay the excess squirrelled away so pleased I didn't have to go into OD or on a CC.

Hope everyone is feeling better soon. Lots of bugs going around by the sounds of it.

I know! They reckon I applied online, to be fair I may have done but I didn't receive the 'trial' card and if I did apply I totally forgot given that I have no card. I've put a complaint through paypal, looks like it might take some time to get sorted

So its my non working day today, I'm shattered but I've got myself started by doing some chores. MS things today:
    - sorting through some paperwork to make space in my spare room where I keep my ebay sales and Christmas/birthday stash
    - writing a shopping list and going shopping to Aldi and then probably Home Bargains and Poundland. I'm going to look at the meat and veg offers online before I go shopping.
    - payday so checking my bank accounts and shift some extra money to pay off my credit card.
    - wrap eBay parcel
    - hopefully facebook sale person comes this aft as planned.
    - I'm going to pack away my summer clothes. I'm tempted to buy some new clothes so hoping a good sort out will remind me of all the lovely clothes I already have.

    Thanks all for today
