Found a recipe online that has almond nougat in the ingredients list. Does anybody know where to get this. Will check the big supermarkets but haven't heard of it before.

Doesn't ordinary nougat have almonds in it?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

There's two sorts of almond nougat-a rather sticky sort that comes in bars and a drier more crumbly sort that you buy loose. I've seen both sorts in the more old fashioned sweet shops.I used to get the crumblier nougat from a stall on Cambridge market.0
