Hi all, just saying hello for my weekly check in.
At the moment I just don't have time to post everyday but I do read in my lunch break at work.
Mount Washmore has grown to Mount Everest proportions, not helped by DSS putting clean clothes in the dirty wash. I did lose my temper with him yesterday, he is 23 and does know better::mad::mad::mad:
I am struggling with my back at the moment, something went png last night so ibuprofen and paracetamol for breakfast.:(
DH has gone to football at Chelsea with a friend. He offered to stay behind but he has never been to a premiership match so I insisted he go
I am pottering about as after slipping a disc almost 20 years ago I know sitting still will not help with recovery.
Bins all emptied
Bleach down the loos
WM and DW on
Rest of washing sorted into piles - 7 loads:eek:and beds need changing::eek: and it has started raining so can't even attempt to put washing on the line
I also have a pile of paperwork to sort so will do that this afternoon
Tonight we are meant to be going to a rock and roll do but can't see me doing any jiving, even a stroll will be a struggle.
Best wishes to all xx0 -
Just been reading the papers. Now having a quick lunch break. DD is now coming round later so that gets me out of any other flying as we will just chat.Spend less now, work less later.0

Morning all
Hugs good wishes and coping vibes to all who need them
Managed to get the bunk/sofa bed out of ds1s room, got ds2s bed in there and ds2 now has gfs bed from her dads house. Must admit got a lump in my throats for the reason we have acquired an almost new bed for him. Someone at work may want the sofa/bunk for her son so that saves me freecycling it. New bedding and duvet came with d2s bed so I'm getting rid of an old duvet and pillow set that have seen better days.
Ds1s room looks so much better now the top bunk isn't window.
Have done all the shopping, taken mils round. Hung the washing outSPC~12 ot 124

Better get back to it...0 -

Upstairs is lovely. Although I can't remember how much crap is on my bed...

Morning all!!!
Woke at 3.15am with pins and needles in my foot and this strange numbness down my leg. Thought for a second that I had become paralysed overnight then decided I had just been laid funny. Needed a wee, really really needed a drink and by 3.30am was wide awake so here I am.
Nice day yesterday, worked until lunchtime, went out for a brilliant bike ride, took DS2 to a party and stopped for a takeaway on the way home (a very rare treat).
I now have a whole Sunday with nothing that has to be done other than collecting DS2 and his mate from their all night party 45 minutes away. Such a luxury.
I have been letting things get on top of me a bit the last few weeks so I am trying to start this week in a more positive frame of mind. Lost my temper with DS1 on Friday and overreacted to the situation which isn't like me. I do need to try and chill out a bit more.
Off to make another brew and curl up with the dog on the sofa for a bit then might head back to bed!0 -
Morning from me too
Been coughing and spluttering for most of the night, so have admitted defeat and got up. Eyes are trying to close now, so I too am back off to bed. I'm not thinking about what needs doing today, well, not yet anyway...0 -

Morning all. Hope you feel better soon Dizzy, and that you're not too tired today YSL.
I had a lie in till 7.15. The only problem with that is that the dogs can't always 'hold on' so the first job of the day isn't pleasant.
Never mind. Feel that I wasted yesterday but I just couldn't be bothered to do much at all. So this morning, I need to prep the spare bed for DS and I'm going to a wedding fair with DD and her fiance.
DH is cooking tea tonight and I've got tomorrow off the paid stuff to spend with DS.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0
