Did it reach the top or near of pan when it was cooked?
Just asking as some folk not used to HM bread expect soft cotton wool sliced bread type of loaf

That's because most commercial bread is made using the Chorleywood process. I hadn't bought commercial bread for a while before I heard about this, but now I definitely won't go back to this nasty stuff. As an aside, I would also recommend making bread entirely by hand, as you can be much more flexible than with a bread maker.0_o0
