Filling in Bankruptcy Forms

Hi,
I have a question about filling the form for the bankruptcy income and expenditures.
Basically, our household income is split practically 75% / 25% in my favour as my wife doesn't work. All her income is from the joint Tax Credits claim and my son's DLA.
On my form, should I enter the expenditure as 75% of the total?
For instance, our rent is £600 / month, so enter that as £450?

Also, I believe I should enter the full amount of my son's care costs on her form as the whole DLA is in her name?
Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

    Hi Hull_BR2016,

The forms ask you for details of the household income, which they describe as salary, wages, benefits and pensions of anyone else in the house. So you will need to declare all of the benefits, including your son's DLA. You should be able to disregard your son's DLA under the 'Other' section and put a description as to why.

In terms of the expenses it does ask you in each section to list what you contribute, so, using your example above, if you pay all of the rent and that shows on other things, such as your bank statement, you should list the full rent on your budget. However, if your wife rebalances this by buying food, your food expense will show as very little or none. I hope that helps,
