Nationwide Switch and Fix Mid Deal

Just wondered if this is exactly what it looks like.
I have a 5 year fix on one of my mortgages with Nationwide for 2.34% which doesn't end until 2021 as I only took it out in February.
But on their website, they have a 5 year fix for 2.09%. Is there any reason why I can't switch and fix (for no fee)? I'm assuming that I would have to lock in for the extra 8 months.

You can switch if you want, but you may have to pay an early repayment charge/ Exit fees.
Do the math and see if that is worth doing"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Because I have a fix, there are early repayment charges. I think I read it wrong. Thanks for that.
They've clarified that the switch and fix is for people on tracker mortgages.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
