will 2 seperate mortgage applications hurt each others application

Options
I spoke to London & Country and they found a mortgage . I have not applied yet as my own bank offered a slightly better deal.

I submitted the documents they requested and a week later my bank has now asked for more info and apologized for not requesting the same last week. (its First direct and they are asking for info that no other provider wants )

London and County have asked me today whether they are to submit my application through them.

i assume that i should just let my own bank do its thing rather than having 2 ongoing at the same time

  • I would not recommend having two applications running concurrently as it's bound to get messy.

Pick the best deal of the two and go with that, if it fails then you have a Plan B.
