Has it been 8 weeks since your formal complaint?

If so, escalate to the regulatorFOS
    Amendment made.
  • OMG. With no letter or email or phone call, with no advance warning nor explanation whatsoever, Friends Life have awoken from their sloth and now deducted TWO MONTHS contributions from the bank account.

This leaves me somewhat askance. Which two months does this represent, since they are SIX months adrift? Why swipe TWO without warning? If that had sent us overdrawn, I would have been furious! Are they going to take two months' worth every month until they catch up? If yes, WHY NOT ASK FIRST??????

This is not funny. This is appalling incompetence on their part whichever way you look at it.

Have you raised this as a formal complaint, it's the only way you are likely to get any positive action.

If they don't respond then you can escalate to the regulator after eight weeks to seek redress.

Or you can just have a rant on a forum and nit get anything resolved.

As you aren't satisfied with their attempt at resolution of your complaint, escalate to FOS.
