5% deposit - not new build

Hi, looking at buying my first home. OH has previously owned 5 years ago but no longer has it and we rent. Like to know if people have been able to mortgages with a 5 percent deposit and not using the new build help to buy scheme as would prefer not to have a new build. I'd heard previously banks weren't lending with less than 20% but has things changed? We both have good jobs and income but finding it hard to raise a large deposit while renting.

There are 95% products out there for FTBs and HomeMovers who have owned previously.
Some are on the HTB - MoOrtgage Guarantee scheme, nothing to do with newbuild and no Government loan. Some aren't which is good as the scheme is ending in three months.I am a mortgage broker.
