Wife just got a 2nd fixed term job

My wife was told yesterday that she was successful at her interview and got a second job that she applied for. She works 24 hours over 3 days at her 1st job and will now do an additional 20 hours on an evening shift 5 days a week. It's basically putting her salary back to full time so the hours should be sustainable.
The 2 job is only a fixed term 2 year contract. What I would like to know is if this second job would be taken into consideration for our mortgage affordability straight away (or within the next couple of months) or will she need to be working there for 6 months before it's counted? And will they consider the full amount of both salaries or just some of the 2nd amount?

On a fixed term contract, many lenders won't accept the income until the contract has been renewed at least once.
