Mortgage chances improved with debt consolidation?

Hi
I am due to remortgage in just over 6 months.
I currently have 2 credit cards and 1 loan.
Would I have a better chance of mortgage approval if I consolidated these debts into a single loan? (Around the same monthly payment combined)
Thanks

I can't see any reason why that would be the case.
A recent search and new credit account close to a mortgage application could be downright harmful.I am a mortgage broker.
