Comp Thread Title Format

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum. I started comping at the end of June and I'm constantly amazed at the generosity and hard work of the contributors to this site.

Apologies if I'm stepping on anyone's toes as a newbie but has anyone ever thought about changing the format of the competition thread titles from E: DD/YY to E: YYYY/MM/DD ? If this was done you could sort the active comp threads by title in ascending order. The first page would show the comps ending soonest (that day) and they would all be in ending date order. I appreciate this would be difficult to implement now but I think it would be very useful.

Tried in the past & it died a death.
Seems hard enough to get the current format right for lots of us :-)

it's an American format so even if people got the year first it's too easy to swap day & month around

The current format is E: DD/MM. The year is only added if the comp ends in a future year.
