Hello
Earlier this year I was about to buy a house but I have been made redundant at work and I was unemployed for 3 months and now working in full time job for just completed 3 months and on probationary period. I worked continuously without any gap for last 10 yrs.
Am i eligible for Mortgage with 3 months of continuous working period?
Please let me know if the unemployment gap will affect my mortgage chances/

Yes, but not with every lender. So you either need to check the criteria before applying or speak to a broker. It should be achievable and at normal rates.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks for your reply. Do you know which lender will reject normally with employment gap or someone still in probationary period.0
