Hi all
First of all I apologise if this is in the wrong forum anyway here it goes.
So my partner set up a new agreement for a corner sofa that connects to a shorter part, so she set up the weekly payments and everything was hunky dory until the day that it was delivered. Apparently because the sofa was 'refurbed' the shop floor model was the only one in stock it had to go to a service centre to make sure it was fit for purpose, anyway the guy turned up and said that they have 'forgotten' the corner part of the sofa and that she would need to contact Perfect Home and arrange a delivery for the additional part. So she called Perfect Home and they said because the sofa is 'refurbished' she would need to have a refurbished additional part rather than a new one and when one came in stock she would get it.
That was about 12 months ago, after constantly going on at them every time she pays and all she gets is fobbed off with the 'I'll look into it by the end of the day and give you a call, that call never arrives, now I am starting to get a bit annoyed as she is paying nearly £20 a week for a sofa that's incomplete and about to be discontinued, if she sends it back all the money she has paid is forfeit and if she keeps it it is still incomplete. So my question is is there anything we can do with regards of the law and the agreements as I don't think it's right she is paying full price for an incomplete sofa.
So any advice guys?
Thanks in advance

I'd think Section 75 would be a good way to go.0
