19p plates and bowls at Ikea

Just got back from Ikea Nottingham after seeing a huge stack of light beige coloured plates, bowls and small bowls like rice bowls for 19p a piece. I got 10 each of the plates and bowls but didn't bother with the little bowls as they won't stack in my dishwasher. They didn't look like seconds and were dishwasher proof. The bloke at the till couldn't be bothered to count them, he just sighed and asked me how many of each I had so I could have got away with an even bigger bargain but at that price there was no need!
Realise it's not going to be available to many people and don't know if it's a limited or long term thing but it is just as you turn into the kitcheny bit after coming out of the restaurant.

Hi there!
These have been around for a while.
I have 3 deep plates and 2 small bowls and they've lasted my kids rough treatment so far! Absolute bargain

yeah these are a long term offer have been around for ages...
The only downside with the the dep plates is ...cos i wash tem by hand they tend to slip easily out of your hand especially when u have a slippery rubber gloves on!!!!
But very good size and well used in our house...and the price.....cheap!!!!10 -
I got them in white last year and they are still going strong...i got large shallow bowls as well that i use as pasta dishes...looks like its a nationwide long term thing.0

i bought all the white set last year and through out the year when ive been back ive picked up a couple more especially the cups im so clumsy there great especially on a buget
i also bought my brother 4 of each as he was moving out
i use the small deep ones for salad or fruit i think there ideal to fit one portion in an when you have guests u look a bit posh...lol0 -
These are a great buy - bought a few pieces for son number 2 to take to uni. Also got the Ikea cheap cutlery, but could have got a better bargain at Tesco - value cutlery.Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!
