I'm sure even the most organised of us OS-ers have one, that thing that goes missing no matter how many replacements you buy! It needn't be expensive, just needed at a crucial moment. What's yours?
For me it's my the pencil sharpener I use for make-up. Infuriating when you are one-eyebrow down
* Disappearing Object Phenomenon that is.

Not an item that can be replaced, but although I keep all my receipts I am always missing the one for the item that's broken while still under guarantee.
Meaning I generally have to pay to replace said item. Shortly after paying to replace it, I will then find the missing receipt. Happens every time. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Used to be glasses but with keeping old ones as spares I have 5 pairs spread round the house and 1 pair in my handbag - usually. However if we go out to dinner I rarely take a bag, so it's a 50/50 tossup if I remember to give a pair to my OH for his jacket pocket.Make £2025 in 2025

Things that have inexplicably gone missing in the Wolves Lair:
- Earrings (luckily I am happy to wear odd ones) - there's one that disappeared about 12 years ago and has never been seen again; I definitely didn't lose it out, it vanished from the bedroom
- Pens, also highlighters.
- Notepads, usually with something important written down
- My spectacles (I used my old ones til they turned up)
- My hearing aid (again, I used the old one til it turned up)
- The computer mouse I use with the laptop for gaming
- Wii controllers
- My engagement ring - went missing for months, and then turned up in the bottom of my knicker drawer; and yes, I'd already turned that drawer out looking for it.
- My mobility buggy keys (luckily I have a spare)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Earrings and teaspoons.
Where do teaspoons actually disappear to!!0 -
Glasses
I have multiple pairs of cheap reading glasses and they all vanish and I find them all having a get together somewhere0
