Are some prizes a bit stingy

Listen I'm grateful for any prize but dare I say sometimes I think some of the multi million companies could surely offer a prize worth more than a £10 gift voucher/card.
As I say it's not greed. I enter majority of win X amount.
Just curious

I was talking to my husband about this earlier...I tend to steer clear of the win £10 Aldi or B and M vouchers where tens of thousands of people enter...I know someone's got to win it but would prefer to enter something with fewer entries and possibly of higher value....Hi Ho Hi Ho it's of to comp I go!0

I think they can offer what they want. I believe £10 voucher is actually very good, better than a tube of smarties.Thank you all who post.0

Its not so much that its the mentality of people going crazy and posting their life story for something worth £1.0

When they are really long-winded entry routes for something with a value of <£5 I often find myself clicking on the 'x' and saying sod that! I don't mind a simple RT but when it's 'like, share, comment & tag' for something small value I cannot be bothered and do find it stingy.0

They will have a promotional budget to stick to and unless they are going really big with a prize they generate more publicity (which is what it is all about) with ten £10 competitions than one for £100 etc.0 -

I'll enter if it's a simple RT or Like, but if it's things like "Tag, share, like, why do you want to win?" for a small prize I don't bother. A few months ago I won ASDAs FreebieFriday RT comp and won £200 of Lego, a few weeks ago I won a book by RT-So a simple retweet that took a few seconds won me a £200 prize and one won me a £7.99 prize.2018 wins-12wins0
