Hi,
This evening my family used lastminute.com to book tickets to see 'Wicked' at the London Apollo in December.
Last show we saw was 'Sister Act' many many years ago at a different theatre so aren't familiar with the Apollo Victoria.
Anyway, we purchased the £31.50 ticket (listed as band F on lastminute.com) - totally threw us off (and on reflection, it was a stupid misunderstanding, with no idea why I thought what I thought, that I quickly realised after booking) as I thought we were booking row F, ofcourse £31.50 would be an brilliant price for the seating.
We looked and obviously we are unable to cancel or upgrade our tickets. However lastminute.com doesn't show any colour zones of potentially where we may be sat? now assuming we will be right at the very back of the theatre.
So a couple of questions if anyone has an an experience with booking Wicked tickets (or any tickets for this theatre):
1. Any idea where zone F is/what the zone covers?
2. If you did sit near the back, did this ruin the experience? As long as we have atleast a clear view of the stage - being dead close isn't the biggest deal.
3. Are you able to find out your seat numbers before getting to the theatre?
We'd rebook better seats but at the risk of losing £150 we aren't keen if the experience will still be a good one.
Any information generally speak will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much!
