Hi guys.I popped into Makro (Norwich) earlier today. They have a huge pile of 20" lcd televisions for £99 pluys vat each.Even with the vat this seems a good price, and i would assume the offer is nationwide..The make was not a famous brand,i cannot remember it though.
As there are not many "actual " manufacturers of LCD TV,s it probabl;y will not matter as they all seem about the same quality and the cheaper end anyway lol.I hope this helps someone with a bargain.

All, these are 4:3 TVs, so don't have much relevance these days - probably why they are being sold off cheap.0

Thanks
They are SQUARE TV's, not Widescreen..... and certainly not HD ready. They are essentially TVs that shops were trying to flog us all for £300+ a year or more ago, but have now realised that no-one wants them any more.
With 17"/19" widescreens available for little more money, these are really obselete.0 -
The pixel resolution is 640 x 480 x 3 (RGB).
Would be interested as to how they decide what to reject of the 600 ish visible lines out of the 625 transmitted when translating into 480 vertical pixels, never mind widescreen.;)ac's lovechild0 -
Agreed these tv's are not widesceen non hd non perfect pictures,in fact everything an "anorak "would hate.....but ideal for the kitchen, the bedroom. You can attach a small freeview box and get a more than acceptable Digital picture for around 150 quid all in !!!!Onwards and Upwards
