How many is many competitions? One thing you will definitely find is that the more you enter, the better your chances of winning something.longleggedhair wrote: »Ive been entering these competitions all year, probably about ten per day, and I've never won once
feels a little disheartening seeing everyone winning several prizes each month....where am I going wrong?
10 a day probably seems a lot but it really isn't. I count myself as a lightweight comper - I don't reckon I do much more than about 500 a week - and that usually nets me around 1 or 2 wins every month. The people who are winning lots of prizes are probably entering more like 200-300 a day!
Also my 1 or 2 wins aren't always big. They can be something like a DVD or a book. The people who are winning 10 and 20 prizes each month, if you look at their prize lists they're not full of TVs and £1000s of pounds, they'll often be small prizes like pet food or keyrings. Not saying there is anything wrong with this, but if you are only entering for big ticket items there will be thousands upon thousands of entries, with less chance of a win. In my experience you've a better chance of winning if you enter lots of competitions, and don't discount smaller prizes.0 -

It was really lovely seeing your video. It is just as much fun seeing someone else open parcels as it is yourself ( does that sound sad maybe I need to get out more). I hope you make another. Just being nosey but how many comps do you usually enter a day or week? Well done :T"And may the odds be ever in your favor."
