I was wanting a bit of advice both my husband and I live in his family home, we have enough money to put a deposit down on a house, my mother in law has asked us to stay in the house until its sold. Would we be able to by the house on a residential mortgage do it up but if the house was not sold yet could we apply for a consent to let for the property.
